Randalstown Central Primary School

Young Enterprise - Victoria Square

31st May 2019
Four of the Primary Seven class spent the day in Victoria Square in Belfast selling their lovely homemade, recycled door-stops.   The four pupils did fabulously...with many of the other 20+ schools selling small items priced at a pound, it was far more challenging to sell a higher quality product at £5.99.   Never-the-less they sold at least 12 items, and in doing so learnt a lot about selling in a real world environment.   They even won a special prize for the quality of their product !!!!!   Thanks to Mrs McIvor and the other P7's for producing such a lovely product...(I even bought one they were so nice), to Young Enterprise as an organisation for running the event...and especially to Paul from Young Enterprise...who helped in every way such as carrying the heavy door-stops to the event and encouraging the children ALL day!   The children even met Pete Snodden from Cool FM and Robbie Meredith from the BBC
