Mrs McVicker organised some gardening workshops for our senior pupils with Margaret Connolly from Monkstown Garden Services.Yesterday, Primary 6 had a workshop with Margaret, where they planted Kale, Lettuce, Peas, Beans, Sping Onions and Leeks in the garden.Primary 6 really enjoyed finding out about growing vegetables.Margaret will be returning to school again on Monday 20th May when she will be working with the Primary Sevens to plant the flower pots at the front of the school. She will also be working with the the Gardening Club after school to plant herbs and wild flowers in the garden and prune some of the existing plants.
