Randalstown Central Primary School

Football League

29th Mar 2017

The school team had another successful day at the League held at Allen Park. This week we played Mount St Michael's, Parkhall and St Comgall's Primary Schools.

The derby match against Mount St Michael's PS was a hard-fought affair. The Central's team kept a much bigger and very skillful team to 0-0 at half time. But as the pressure mounted, the team couldn't hold on and lost three relatively quick goals towards the end of match.

The match against Parkhall Ps was a much more comfortable game. Our team scoring almost at will...came out 5-0 winners.

The final match was against St Comgall's Ps. The match was a pretty physical encounter. But our boys played very well and came out deserved 4-0 winners, with our Captain Kenneth converting a very well taken penalty. All-in-all another very good day for the team.

Thanks as always to the parents who came along to support.
