A very exciting parcel arrived from the Postman for Primary 1. He brought a box of caterpillars which we are going to look after until they turn into butterflies. We will then release them into our school garden. The pupils in Primary 1 are learning “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” story for their Talk for Writing this term. After we looked at the caterpillars, we went into the school garden to find some caterpillar eggs. We found a few very small eggs and lots of leaves with holes, where the caterpillars had been eating.
