After-School Activity - Spanish

6th Oct 2016
When learning a foreign language it is necessary to repeat and revise previously visited topics. With a few new members this week we started off revising the colours by playing colour splat on the Interactive White Board which the children just love!   They were then asked to design a poster that was meaningful to them to help them remember ‘los colores’ in Spanish. They ranged from flowers, footballs, a rugby ball, a box of crayons, a doughnut and even a tractor tyre!!   The children were also taught to say “Mi color favorito es….” (My favourite colour is…) and they can also now use the phrases “claro” (light) and “oscuro” (dark) to describe the shade of the colours.
