Earlier today, I posted a picture of our latest 'Word Millionaires'...pupils who had read 1,000,000 words in school through our Accelerated Reading Scheme.
Miss McCurdy asked me to source new 'special' rewards, that the pupils could keep, to mark the huge achievement of them reading 1 Million Words.
No matter how far and wide I looked, I couldn't find anything that I thought 'looked' a good enough 'keepsake'. So I eventually commissioned a company to make Randalstown Central a bespoke metal badge...that the pupils could keep and cherish.
They arrived today...and I am delighted with them...I've included my initial design and the final metal lapel badge.
