Congratulations to one of Primary 7 pupils on being crowned Young Handlers’ Champion yesterday, at the Royal Ulster Premier Beef and Lamb Championship. She showed the Gary Pickering Memorial Trophy and told the class how, as part of the competition, she had to get the cow ready; walk the cow around the ring and ensure the cow’s head remains up, whilst the handler keeps eye contact with the judge.
