The children in Primary 1 really enjoyed World Book Day. They all looked fabulous in their costumes and were able to talk about their book characters. Many thanks to the parents for putting so much time and effort into creating the fantastic costumes. The highlight of the day had to be the parade around the town. The children loved seeing their parents and grandparents. A great big thank you to Christine and her team at the “Hope and a Future” Charity Shop for so generously giving every child a free book. When we arrived back in school, the children loved pairing up with “buddies” in Primary 2 and browsing through books with Primary 7. After that we had a “Who am I?” Book Character Quiz. What a fantastic day!
