Yesterday Helen and Suzanne (from Tidy Randalstown) visited us to talk about keeping Randalstown beautiful...and to launch The Tulip Challenge.
They told us how to plant Tulip Bulbs.
They also told us that Randalstown won 'Ulster in Bloom', and showed us the certificate to tell us that Randalstown is the 'Best Kept Town In Ireland'
We also received our certificate to show that the school's plot (down at the river) was runner up in Antrim and Newtownabbey Council's 'Community Garden Awards !
Thank you to all the parents and volunteers who helped Mrs McVicker to water and weed both our school gardens during the Summer months...we really appreciate all your hard work !
