The Last Few Days In Primary 7
As the Primary 7 pupils prepare to say goodbye to Central they have had a busy few days!
Last Friday saw the children complete the final part of their Cycling Proficiency. They all passed and have shown great progress in road awareness, bike control and knowledge of the rules of the road. Thank you to Trevor for his support.
The children performed their end of year show for the first time on Monday. Congratulations to all the children who have worked really hard to learn their lines; bring their characters to life and perform in front of the parents. Today is the final show with curtain up at 7pm.
As part of our whole school wellbeing programme, Primary 7 pupils planned and delivered a 20 minute Physical Activity session for each class. The children really enjoyed this and it was great to see them organising and developing their leadership skills.
After school on Tuesday the children had an evening of fun and a BBQ. This is fast becoming an annual favourite for teachers and pupils. The children played games; had a mini disco; played hide n seek in the school and finished with a water fight – whilst some teachers took the brunt of the less than friendly fire a few went AWOL. Names have been noted! A really big thank you to all of the parents who helped out cooking, serving and supplying all the goodies. Thank you to the PTA and Kearney’s for supplying the meat. More photos of this event will follow tomorrow.
