Summer School - Framing Nature
20th Jul 2021
Yesterday was the start of our two week Summer Scheme and it got off to a great start. We were really lucky to welcome Emma from the Amma Centre who led a workshop for us called ‘Framing Nature’. The children had to create their own silhouette pictures and then use the IPad to fill it in with different colours, textures and patterns from around the school. In the afternoon, Emma showed us how to make ‘stop-motion’ animations of a butterfly flying and we used Minecraft Education version. The children had a great first day and we are all looking forward to lots of activities the rest of the week!
