Primary Seven took part in the Sports for Schools launch this morning. As well as discovering that the athlete visiting our school in March will be Team Ireland swimmer David Thompson; the children had a chance to try the four main sporting activities. The four activities are ‘Spotty Dogs’, ‘Push-Ups’, ‘Sprint Starts’ and ‘Star Jumps’. We were joined by the Busy Bees to show them how to do each activity. Some of the Primary Sevens will act as ‘Sportivators’ over the next few weeks to help the younger classes at break times.
The children will try and improve their own score for the number they can do in a minute.
