The children in P5 have enjoyed making pancakes and eating them. During the morning the children engaged in a range of activities that focused on Pancake Day. To begin they watched a PowerPoint which focused on why people celebrate Shrove Tuesday and then looked at ways Shrove Tuesday is celebrated in the four countries of UK. They also created an acrostic poem based on the letters of Pancakes. To end off they took part in a quiz to test their knowledge on Shrove Tuesday/Pancake Day. A great morning was had by all.
