Shared Trip To See The Ulster Orchestra
13th Nov 2018
Last week pupils who currently take instrumental lessons in both our school and Mount Saint Michael’s Primary School got the fantastic opportunity to go and see the Ulster Orchestra in action. They took part in the “Telling Stories” concert where the children learnt about the general instruments involved in the orchestra as well as how music can be used to create characters, scenes, adventure and emotion. The concert finished with a specially create piece of music where children chose the theme of Mary Poppins and Mr Bean having an adventure together! We hope this gave the children inspiration as to what continued practise and effort of their instrument might lead to!
