Scarborough & York Day 4 - Homeward Bound
4th May 2018
The children are on their way home. The journey will be split into 3 main stages on the way to the ferry. The first stage is a journey up the east coast of England for about an hour and a half, from Scarborough through Witby and on to Middlesbrough. The second stage is a two hour journey from Middlesbrough to Gretna Green on the Scottish Border, where they'll stop in mid afternoon. The final leg of the journey is another two hour trip to Cairnryan for tea time when they'll catch the ferry home! The first stop was in Middlesbrough where they had lunch and visited the Riverside Stadium, home to Middlesbrough Football Club.
