Road Safety In Primary 7
18th Nov 2021
The Primary 7 children were delighted to work with Johnny from Sustrans. They discussed the importance of wearing bright colours at this time of year; safe places to cross and the impact of electric vehicles on the Green Cross Code. The children took part in a moving debate before estimating the braking distance of a car. Whilst a couple were close for many it was eye-opening to discover the distance a car takes to stop at 30 mph. A staggering 23m – almost the full length of our playground!
