Last Thursday Primary 3 and Primary 7 children enjoyed sharing reading in the school garden. A great opportunity for the younger children to read to an audience, and for the Primary 7 children to show their patience and kindness with younger children- and importantly enjoy a good book!
It also gave an opportunity for Primary 7 children to teach the Primary 3 children how to play rounders. A chance for the primary 3 children to learn a new game and to work alongside older children. More great teamwork skills being developed by P7 as well as a chance to think about how to communicate and instruct others…. and importantly enjoy a great traditional game in the sun!
