This week, during play our “In the Moment Planning” brought us a week of pumpkins. One child brought in pumpkins, which his granny had grown. We cut the pumpkins and scooped them out. Some girls decided to use the pumpkin flesh and seed to ice buns in playdough. Other children painted pictures of pumpkins and then we decided to make paper mache pumpkins. Lastly we planned to make pumpkin soup. All the children tasted the soup and lots of them thought it was delicious!
