I think it was Aristotle who was credited with saying 'Those who know, do. Those that understand, teach'.
With this in mind I worked with the Primary 7 pupils today and asked them to TEACH me about Pie Charts.
All they were given was a blank pie chart and they were asked to devise a series of questions to use as teaching tools for Pie Charts.

The thinking being, that if they could teach and test me about the charts...they FULLY understood them.
Here are just a few of their ideas !!!!
Working independently and fluently with Angles, Fractions, Ranges, Proportions, Tally Charts etc
Just AMAZING...they are great pupils...and they are maybe even better teachers !
