Primary 2 had THE BEST day at Belfast Zoo with our buddies from Mt St Michael’s. Even the miserable weather couldn’t dampen our spirits as we adventured around the zoo spotting monkeys, lizards, iguanas, llama, elephants, zebras, giraffes, chimps, lions, flamingos, penguins and sealions! Everyone had a favourite animal to share on the way home- we even had a chance to have our lunch beside the lions! The children behaved SO well and Mrs Hassall and Evelyn are so proud of them all. Now to put our feet up after all that walking-phew!!
