Yesterday the P5, P6 and P7 choir went to the SSE Arena, Belfast to take part in the Peace Proms. The event was conducted by Grey Beardsell and run by the Cross-Border Orchestra of Ireland. The 24 children made up a 3000 strong Belfast Peace Choir and sang the songs we had been practicing over the past 2 months in after-school Choir Club. The event was brilliant, with a wide variety of celebration music and all the children enjoyed it. A special thanks to all the parents and governors who came out to support us. Thanks too, to Miss Nelson & Mrs Wensley for making the day possible..A day to remember!
