I know that the old pound coins are still legal tender for almost two more weeks, but could I request that parents try to stop sending them into school from now on.The office and canteen are finding that they are spending a lot of time sifting through money to ensure the old coins are found and lodged ahead of the deadline on 15th October.I hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience, but it would really save the office and canteen a lot of time.
