Mrs McKane's Leaving Assembly
Mrs McKane's Leaving Assembly
This morning we also said our goodbyes to Mrs McKane, who leaves us after 34 years at the school.
Mrs McKane has been a stalwart of the school since the 1980's and will leave a huge hole in the school as she eases into retirement.
Mrs McKane is the School's Head of Foundation Stage, The Numeracy Co-Ordinatior and has been the School's Senior Teacher, since the retirement of Miss Kilpartick 14 years ago.
As well as teaching generations of children from the town, Mrs McKane's own children all came through the school and we wish her well as she trades-in her Teacher's Hat for her Granny's Hat...as she looks forward to looking after and teaching the next generation of McKanes.
As a school family we will miss Janet, but we wish her many years of happy retirement...and look forward to her coming back to visit us many times in the years ahead
