Mental Health In Primary 2
Primary 2 have been so busy this week taking part in loads of activities as part as Mental Health Week. We have been talking about positive affirmations all week and drew self portraits with some positive words about ourselves. We also learnt about keeping ourselves safe online on Internet Safety Day on Tuesday. Talking about how we feel and having strategies to help us manage our emotions is a big part of life in P2 every day, not just this week, but we have been thinking even more about this. In PE, we put the music on loud and had some dancing time, with everyone feeling great after. As part of our Literacy work we wrote a class Recipe for a Cup of Positivitea and we each wrote and decorated a positive affirmation to put in our class cup. Today we rounded off a great week with our Express Yourself day. The children look fantastic and we enjoyed decorating some buns and having a tea party this morning.
