Measuring In Primary Seven
12th Jun 2019
Between the dodgy rain showers over the last few days P.7 have been out measuring using trundle wheels. They tried to refine their skills in measuring the perimeter of land around the school. We then recorded everyone’s scores and revised our knowledge of averages.
To link in with our ‘Titanic’ topic we then measured out 269m (the length of the ship) and walked this to feel what it would have been like to stroll along the deck from bow to stern. We were surprised that it took us nearly 4 minutes at a medium pace!
