Little Healthy Me In Primary 3 & 4
Primary 3 and 4 took part in the ‘Little Healthy Me’ session. Throughout the day they took part in a wide range of activities and games where they learnt about our thoughts, feelings and looking after ourselves. The children enjoyed dances and fun movements. They talked about ways to keep our body/mind healthy. They learnt how to create a memory jar and used beads to represent their memories and added these to the jar. After break, the children practised ways to calm themselves down when they are feeling a certain way and practised some breathing techniques (rainbow and rollercoaster). The children learnt about different emotions they may feel and how our body tells us how we feel. They listened to stories and discussed what emotion they would feel in each situation.
Many thanks to Francesca for delivering a fantastic session, the children had an amazing day!
