Investigating Snow - In Busy Bees
30th Jan 2019
Today in Busy Bees we put on our wellies, wrapped up warm and headed outside to investigate the snow. We tried to catch the snow falling on our tongues but discovered it melted really quickly. We made footprints, comparing the size of our feet, made patterns using feet, hands and sticks to show off our mark-making skills and we talked about how the snow felt by using words like cold, freeze, soft, wet, melt. So much learning happening during this fun experience. However, I think the Busy Bees’ favourite part was chasing Miss Pedlow and Evelyn with snowballs!
