Last week the Gardening Club had a workshop on 'Container Planting' with Margaret Connolly. We now have 3 lovely bright containers at the front of our shcool cantaining a variety of plants. We really enjoyed planting them and we think they look splendid.We found out from Margaret a great tip to help keep the compost moist in dry weather...to put three saturated car wash sponges into the bottom of each of our containers...that's a wee tip for mum's and dad's too !
