Today we had our first harvest of the year from the garden.The ECO council and the Gardening Club picked some little Gem Lettuce, Spring Onions, Parsley, Chives and Kale.Ruby, Paige and Jay from P7 then helped Mrs McVicker to prepare a salad bowl for each class.All our classes from Reception to Primary Seven...and our dinner ladies enjoyed a very healthy and deliciously fresh break today.
