Primary 3 continued their topic of Celebrations yesterday through lots of fun activities during Activity Based Learning. We explored how people in England celebrate Bonfire Night. We made bonfire and firework pictures using oil pastels, wrote Sense Poems describing what you would see, hear, smell, taste and touch at a bonfire celebration and we also made firework patterns using pegs. We continued our work on Number Bonds and Place Value to 100 through different games and in PE, worked in groups to create “Firework Dances”.
