Last Friday in P3 we continued with our Problem Solving topic, ‘Finding All Possibilities.’ Children were given a challenge to discover how many different two-scoop ice cream flavour combinations they could find, using four or five different flavours. The children used their own methods for solving the problem, which included cutting out each flavour to make the combinations. Of course, it would have been rude if we didn’t have some ice cream after, and find out the favourite two scoop combination in the class, from a choice of Strawberry, Vanilla or Chocolate.
