Busy Bee - Listening Walk
2nd Oct 2019
As part of our Phase One Phonics work, the Busy Bees have been learning to distinguish between different environmental sounds. This week, we have made some big listening ears and today we went on a listening walk around the school and playground. We heard lots of different sounds, including dogs barking, the phone ringing in Mrs Rock’s office, the church bells and people chattering. The Busy Bees look fabulous in their special ears and I hope they will be able to use these to see what different sounds they can hear in their houses or when out and about.
