Today Busy Bees and P1 had a brilliant morning with Danielle from the Forest Schools Association. We started our outdoor learning morning finding out how animals, birds and insects camouflage themselves. Next, we played a game where we had to camouflage red and green worms in the garden then the birds had to find them. Finally, after break we found out all about bird’s nests then we were given the challenge of finding lots of foraged material in our garden and school field to build a bird’s nest for an egg.
We all had a fantastic morning and can’t wait until next Wednesday when Danielle will be coming back and we will be doing lots more exciting outdoor learning activities.
