A Busy Time In Busy Bees
It has been a very busy half term in Busy Bees. We have welcomed 4 new children to our class, had a judo ‘taster session’ and took part in ‘Fit Thursday’. We have been working on patterns and colour, looking for shapes and numbers in the environment, working on our gross and fine motor skills through indoor and outdoor play and have been learning prepositional language during our P.E. sessions on the large apparatus. Some of the children really enjoyed making playdough, whilst others have been working on their building and creative skills with the large wooden blocks. Our story this half term has been The Gingerbread Man and we have really enjoyed acting out the story in lots of different ways. Underpinning all this, is how we are learning to work together, share, take turns, negotiate, problem solve and become independent. Have a wonderful half term Busy Bees!
