A fantastic first week back for Primary 7. I have been really impressed by the enthusiasm and energy the children have brought to every activity, and everyone’s adaptability and resilience.
During the final week of Remote Learning pupils wrote a story titled ‘Stranded’ where the main character was stranded on a desert island. This week the children developed their initial ideas and wrote a diary entry from the point of view of one character. They then worked in groups to plan, film and edit a news report to present the story. The full video will be available for the children to watch on our Google Classroom. Look out for the children’s answers to our own version of Desert Island Discs.
In addition to the English project the children completed Maths challenges, music, PE and PDMU.
